What we collect

Teacher accounts store email address, password hash, plan tier, payment records, and classroom content created through the service. Student entries store the class code context, student name, answer, AI feedback, reflection, and any teacher safeguarding review notes.

How we use data

We use the data to run the classroom tool, save draft answers, generate feedback, support teacher review, manage paid plans, and maintain security records such as login attempts.

AI processing

OpenAI API services may be used for student feedback, optional moderation, and teacher-facing AI summaries. Flagged safeguarding responses are excluded from teacher AI summary input. If moderation is enabled, student text may also be checked against OpenAI moderation tools.

Payments

PayPal is used for paid plan checkout. QuizMe.uk stores a limited payment history including order IDs, capture IDs, amount, status, and support period details.

Hosting

The service is intended to be hosted on IONOS.

Deletion and retention

Teachers can delete sessions and delete their account. Deleting classroom data does not refund daily question or response-slot allowances because daily usage is tracked separately. Free/Basic accounts may be removed after 12 months of inactivity. Paid tiers are for life, with operational support guaranteed for 48 months from purchase.

Safeguarding boundary

QuizMe.uk provides teacher-facing review flags and notes only. It does not run a school safeguarding workflow, make referrals, or manage cross-platform escalation.
